Mine is a John Dilworth repop. John Secchi knew him quite well and was kind enough to get a few of us a good collection of John Dilworth bodies a couple of years ago.
Apparently there are two Lancer bodies, standard and handling and there has been a lot of debate about whether mine is a handling or standard version. It is difficult to find dimensions but I found an article which said the Elfin 400 had the same track and wheelbase and mine is within 10% of the Elfin dimensions I found online.
Decals came from Pattos. Aussie decals for an Aussie car!

Latest news about club nights is that we hope to start at the beginning of October but this is subject to confirmation and may change depending on the situation with Covid19 guidance.
I will keep this thread updated with the latest news.
Looking forward to racing again whenever that becomes possible and I am sure we will all have plenty of new cars to test.

We had hoped to start racing again in early November but on Friday all of Essex (except Southend and Thuirrock) was put into tier 2 lockdown so no socialising indoors with anyone outside your household/support bubble which means we can't start club again.
My understanding is that the tier 2 lockdown is in force for up to 6 months (which takes us through to around Easter next year) but this is reviewed every 28 days.
Obviously I will post here if the situation changes and once we can get back to racing again we can make arrangements for any potential new members to come along.
In the meantime please stay safe and keep building. We will get to race again one day!

Another nationwide lockdown for at least a month from Tuesday so no chance of restarting racing at the moment.
The Government will review the lockdown in early December but realistically it is looking more and more unlikely that we will be able to race again until the new year.
If you are interested in coming along please watch this thread and I will post any news as soon as we make a decision on returning to racing again.
In the meantime stay well.
Tony

Just to let forum members know that we are still around but recent events have confirmed that there is no chance of any racing until next year. At least the success with vaccines means there is a light at the end of the tunnel although it will be a while before we can all get immunisation.
I will post here as soon as there is any news on restarting racing and then we will be able to sort out the situation for possible new members and any casual visitors.
As well as club racing we will be continuing our vintage nights once we are up and running again so if you are into vintage please come along and support our race nights as a few new faces would make a nice change.
All race nights for next year should appear on the club website once we are able to make plans for 2021.
Have the best Christmas you can
Tony
