I have a nasty habit of collecting things, just in case they might be useful. One of those things is a collection of trackside advertising banners, scenic graphics, and backdrops, which I thought might be good to use on my track. As it happens I didn't use many of the advertising banners as they didn't look right on my rally track.

However, I think I've found a home for them now, in our new Graphics section, which is available from the Resources section of the Home page, or from the link below.

Slot Track Graphics

This is just a start, I'll build it up over time. So if there is anything you want that isn't there, just let me know.

Sorry I know its not even close to Christmas yet but I thought id get in quick. So what I'm after is a countdown counter, ya that's all, my world would be complete if only. so a few facts for you all to consider please if you don't mind. Im using Ninco track and DS200 with a stop and go box, all working great no issues (apart from would like the track to be a bit bigger) so what's the problem well my shed is only 12X8 so space is at a premium and the driver stations can't see when the DS stop and go box lights turn from red to green although there is sound as well. So I'm looking at adding a MS O.P. laptop to the DS200 via a HDMI cable, but then what, Im only racing analoge on two lanes so don't need anything complicated and the DS200 really gives to me all the information I need, so basically im only looking for a countdown which would be amazing. If anyone lives in Telford Shropshire contact me visitors always welcome.

Thank you in advance. Happy Slotting.

One of my favourite contructors, he took the lead in aerodynamics when the red plagues only was thinking of power and more power (and they were not the best at that anymore by the mid 60's)

This is an unknown 2J and a complete build of the Hawk Chapparal which arrived beautifully painted in blue ?????  but with no screen or parts. Struggled a bit with the screen and it needs more fettling. It now has a 60's monogram chassis fitted, which I think is close to what Hawk had back in the day.

Could the "signature" option be sorted out, please?

Text formatting does not appear to work, for example ....

Why does my screen show these  ............ surely only one car at a time is sufficient, as it is a long scroll down to the bottom?

They are reduced in size so as to fit them all in ...  Rofl

An idea , perhaps we could discuss lighting your track and buildings and where to purchase the equipment .

Does anyone know what these are ?
I want to take them out and install in a set of air hubs, but there is no way these are coming out of the stock aluminium rear wheels in one piece, I have tried the freezer overnight, placing in a shallow tub of hot water  (to just below the plastic) but no go.
I love the look of these deep dish inserts, so really would like to keep the stock look.
Thing is I can not even find spares, the closest I can see are the "campagnolo" inserts, but they don't look to have as thick spokes nor as deep dish so I don't think it is those.
Do Racer/Sideways not do these as a spare part ?

Hello all, the World Rally Proxy 2019 is an event series that has been running for over a decade and involves cars being rallied at venues around the globe. The UK features both in entries and hosting rounds.  The event in Scotland is currently active with the first Stage completed. A very low field this year (16 cars) contrasts with the peak of over 50 a few years ago.  The series is currently administered from Australia, consequently the event reporting primarily is on "Auslot". Planning another 2 stages to complete "Rally Scotland" then the cars move to Wales and onwards bvefore returning to the finale in Australia.

WRP 2019 Scotland Stage 1 was run yesterday. This was on a hybrid track made from a combination of Scalextric Sport and Scalextric Start sections. We ran the cars for ten laps each, results are as below. Quite a few "offs" affected some cars, especially where the car inspired the driver to push harder.
Crawford did the driving whilst myself and Peter did the marshalling and admin.

Ronnie booked us in for a golf lesson this morning. neither of us had tried it before but now we have time, it seems a good idea to have a go at stuff.

There is a driving range and practice green quite near us so orft we jolleywelled.

Ronnie went first and I watched what he was teaching her as trying to hear what he was saying is a waste of time with my ears.

When my turn came, I asked him if the safety nets weren't a bit low and a bit near (100 metres or er...so). He scoffed he did! "No-one could get the ball anywhere near them at their first attempt" he said.

Don't know about you but I take that sort of thing as bit of a challenge Cool

"Use the driver" he said, "it will make no difference"

The first ball was a bit wayward but it cleared the fence some way to the left. The next ball cleared the fence at the end. "er" he said "would you swap to the iron please". So I put that one over the fence as well.

I think I might quite like this game Bigsmile
