Hello everyone. I got wind that this forum features a calendar, something dear old SFI is critically missing since.. quite a while now.
I am now here!
Your newest newbie, approaching 20 years of forum activity.
3D car bodyshell files - there's loads available, some are good, some are rubbish, some aren't even properly printable without hacking in 3D software...and the 3dprintable dude is VERY difficult to get hold of and doesn't understand what a 'half hollow' bodyshell is. If you must buy from him avoid the ones that are rendered in grey as the quality is rough, stick with the blue rendered ones...and you'll have to scale them yourself as they don't come as any particular scale or thickness.
Here's my bookmarked list of files sites:...all are purchased files, none of these are free.

Can't figure out what's going on. It's a Maga-Traction chassis and it doesn't look like the rivets are riding the rail, but hard to tell. Guide pin has plenty of clearance around and under. Posted a video on YouTube and my fake FB page

NINCO PROTRUCK FORD RANGER. RAID, RALLY, OFF ROAD, DAKAR, EXTREME SLOTTING
I purchased a pair of these excellent Ninco models a few weeks back, from Savage GT, on the forum.
They came as a pair, but I have decided to offer one back for sale, due the purchase of a Ninco VW Touareg.
Sold to me as Test laps only, the model is in as new condition. I have run a few laps on my Routed layout, it goes great, and looks really cool, particularly the rear deck area. Very striking colour scheme, much sort after and rare.....
Comes complete in its original display box and plinth. The box lid is fine, but has a few marks from storage.
Savage GT sold the pair for what he paid, not collector's prices. I am doing the same as he was kind enough to give me that price.
Currently also listed on eBay. Please send me a PM if you would like it. As is the normal way of things, not considered sold until actually paid for. PayPal Friends and family only for payment, thank you.
£35.00 PLUS £4.20 SIGNED FOR POSTAGE.
Ron has been playing with 3D resin printing over at his excellent Scalextric Trackside NE Facebook group and has produced two set of figures for sale - a set of nine marshals and a TV Crew of seven figures. I bought the set of marshals and they arrived yesterday - I'm very impressed.
At the moment, Ron is only selling via the Facebook group for the price of £2 per figure (plus £3.50 P&P for however many sets you order) - these are rather exceptional figures for that sort of money. The characterisation is great and the nine make a very nice representation of a modern marshalling crew - although there should probably be at least one chubby bloke for 100% accuracy.
hi guys
having been to my local club a few times , i feel its time i purchased my own controller
i have borrowed tru speed controllers as most at the club use them and they seem good ( but i have nothing to compare )
but i notice lots of others especially online use the slot.it controller ( spc 2)
so i have determined to buy one of the 2 mentioned , but which 1 ?
i was wondering if any1 had experience of both controllers
a kinda pros/cons of each
i have been told its a very personal thing , but i still need a nudge in which ever direction
it will be used only for club racing , analogue
any pointers gratefully received
Kev
