Todays meeting held at Conington Park was great fun as always.
The catering was on new level, with delicious home made American pancakes, maple syrup and crispy bacon for breakfast/brunch, and later equally delicious homemade coffee and walnut cake courtesy of Mrs CMOTD.
After brunch racing started, and despite a few attempts, the best Fluff could manage was a minor injury to a cameraman F , lots of racing excuses were used by everyone, but mostly the errant Fluff !
I think I might not have been far behind though.
Having said that, Steve is getting faster, but overall, the home advantage paid off for Brian.
An enjoyable days racing and banter, and he track is looking fantastic.
First a video overview of most of the track:

Today at Brian's,started well enough ,with a small delightful present of two miniature sauce bottles for my bacon roll shed ,then of course it headed into the catering area , with a breakfast/lunch of pancakes maple syrup and crispy bacon .Many comments were made as to what was expected on the visit to mine in October ,then followed by cookies and coffee and then homemade cake . Brian admitted that he was going to have a meal menu , but thought that might be rubbing too much salt into the wound . The racing was brilliant as always and much fun and banter was had , I did manage to clobber a photographer on one corner though and gained a few points there !!Next G.O.L.D meeting at mine on October the 23rd where we meet Ken Mason .At least he has no preconceived ideas on what he may get for lunch!
"Motor racing is dangerous." It says so on the tickets. Photographer has been released from the infield care centre and returned to his post. Once again the FIA safety standards on my track have saved the little people from serious injury. Look forward to next meeting.
