1951 Godini LeMans
#1

I've been in this hobby for two years, now. A buddy surprised a few of us with his track so what could we do but submit! This is my first 'scratch' build of sorts. The body is an MMK 1951 Gordini LeMans. It came with metal detail bits, spoked wheels and tires. It is very nice. I (over) built the chassis, added a digital chip then installed head-fog-tail lights using LEDs and appropriate resistors. It is heavy and sits high so doesn't run well but sure is pretty if I say so myself! MMK did a wonderful job with the resin body, paint and livery!

Go go Godini!

Seriously, great work.  Those are fabulous, if heavy, bodies.    But it's really fun to have unique cars.

Excellent to see your own creation running laps.

Nice one ARUP !
Several years ago I bought an MMK Ford Cortina kit with painted bodyshell. Am too wary of spoiling it by assembling it ...
