Good Morning Fellow Bury St Edmunds Slot Car Club Members.
So we are all stuck at home and I imagine we are fiddling with cars etc. I am going to take this time to lay down a permanent Digital layout. See pic of first "panel".
The idea is to lay down 5 x 8'x4' MDF panels and create a F1/GT circuits.(see layout plan)
I will eventually invite you all down for a race session. In the warehouse unit next to me we have a Micro brewery making great beer, so refreshment at hand in their Tap bar.
However I need some advice!
I have purchased a separate power supply to make sure I get enough power to all parts of the track. My query is this:
1. What is the best way to connect to the track? Is it direct soldering?
2. What core cable should I use? Need to purchase the most suitable cable and I don't really know the best option.
Any advice gratefully accepted and I hope you all are well.
Thanks Max
