Question Simple track wiring
#1
Icons8-maintenance-filled-16

Like many I have some spare time on my hands. So plan to rewire the track, 4 lane carrera layout. It is currently connected using the std Carrera powerbases, but plan to use 3 pin club plugs for controllers and by-pass the power bases.
Also wish to use Slot It SP2 controller, so have read that I  need "Positive" wiring?
Bit of a numpty (are we still allowed that word?) When it comes to electrics,

So is there a simple guide to how to wire it up?

Any help appreciated

The BSCRA site has a complete guide to track building, including a comprehensive wiring section which may prove helpful if you get stuck. LINK

Hello Steve. Do you already have the Slot.it Controller? If you do, then you're going to want to wire the track in accordance with the cartridge you have for it. If you have the Universal cartridge - SCP201bc (which comes in the SCP201ai Controller) then you can wire it however you like. My track is wired like this with the exception I only have 2 lanes...

There's a section in the 'user cp' area to 'manage attachments'. You tick the ones you want to remove, and there you go!

I love puttering with gears
