The oXigen cartridge has a big two-core wire coming out the bottom to power the controller. There are two banana plugs included in the box - those are used to hook up to the driver stations at DiSCA events. They will also plug into standard output sockets on a bench top power supply or you can easily rig up your own sockets. It's not clear in the oXigen documentation the voltage required, although I seem to remember 6-12 volts DC recommended? The DiSCA power loom is 9 volts.

   

An alternative for home use would be the Slot.it battery pack (Pendles here) which takes 2 x 3.7 volt Li-Ion batteries and plugs into the SCP2 via the USB socket or via the standard power wires.
