With all the discussion here I am a little surprised that there are only 6 responses to the survey and little discussion on the official forum.

Again I have trouble understanding why people engage outside of official channels and wonder why companies aren't "listening". 

The Talking Utter Slot video highlights that they are listening and apparently the loudest i.e. those actually spending money are the ones being heard.

My guess is they requested this info because they are toying with ways to make Scalextric more of an all-year activity as opposed to a [insert your favorite holiday]  activity only.

Getting a set of tires/tyres or braids might make people dig the cars out and run them again. 

Just what I think their thoughts might be going..

Anyhoo, like anything where people are allowed to vote whether you participate or not you live with the consequences ...
