NOTIFICATION- Regarding the Revoslot Porsche 934
Obviously I had no previous knowledge of this Revoslot car being released when developing this proxy. And I thought it was a strange choice for Revoslot to choose, as it is not falling into the 60’s Gr2 or the 90’s GT1 or GT2 car category’s ? Perhaps they are starting a new group of cars, and why not of course.
I have looked up the details of the Revoslot 934 cars regarding real time info, and it looks as if all 3 car variations were indeed cars which ran in the late 1970’s at various events. I don’t think that any of the liveries variation offered actually participated in the Targa Florio although they could have done. Most likely only the Brumos livery car would have been in a road race given that the other 2 have track based rear wings.
However regarding proxy entries my thoughts are that since there could be only one Revoslot car in this Group 3, should we allow it into the competition and if so in which class ? A solution would be to allow this car into either Group 3E ( Modified Standard) or Group 3F (Procar) under a concessionary basis.
I can see issues and possible objections to either and maybe just barring the car is the best solution, but I am open to your views on it.
