My first port of call for such questions is Paul Gage Tires - he makes tyres for most of the brands with individually-sized wheels and has the sizes nicely coded.
His Moby Dick 935 tyres are: PGT-21138XLM meaning 21mm diameter, 13mm wide and an 8mm wide rib. The XLM has something to do with the rib height, I think.
The Zakspeed Capri tyres are: PGT-20138LMXD. That means they should fit, but may be lower - and may need gluing.
With Carrera cars, my second step is usually to buy the Paul Gage tyres! They improve grip significantly, are easy to true and don't do the melting thing. Gareth at Slot Car Supplies in the UK does stock some - including the Zakspeed size - and can probably order others in if you ask him nicely.
Mike at WHO Racing (mikefi here) makes softer XPG-style urethanes and has moulds for the Carrera modern DTM and GT standard size - equivalent to the 20125LMXD.
Hope that helps.
