Early in NSR history they produced a Renault Clio rally-car and then used the exact same chassis for a FIAT Punto S2000.
These tended to dominate the UK slot-rally scene - until they were banned.
Just to add to the Aston Martin rally backstory, Francois Delecour drove that car in the Rallye Du Val and subsequently on the Goodwood FoS rally stage.
