Thank you for your welcome.
I did put together a Cadillac Eldorado 1959 in optional hardtop version, and like your Impala took up 2 lanes!! It was finally mentioned that it is not fair on the Cortinas and minis racing at the time. It is shod with "Slot-it HRS2 chassis kit".  I do use it as a pace car occasionally to tease the other drivers . It has been a pace car for Nascar racing!!
Currently favourite is GT3 Class with Black Arrow Lamborghini Murcielagos and Ferrari 358 Italia. Only age keeps me behind the faster drivers, youth wins I guess!

Here she is just waiting for decals and driver and as Leo has suggested a buxom blonde with a flag .The wheels at the moment are just on the plastic chassis ,will get it running asap .Hope you like
