I am looking for 15" radius banking for Tomy AFX track, they make 9" and 12" but that limits me to 4 lane banking and I am looking for 6 lane banking. I have thought that it might be possible to get sections 3D printed, but this is out of my league, anyone out there have this capacity?
I have also thought of making it out of plywood steamed to a curve with the slots and pick up rails routed into the plywood, again this seems a little daunting but I do have local boat builders that could help and then fit 3 inch track pieces to the ends to connect standard track to.
I have found a solution and it's in my loft! I have two sections of older Aurora flexitrack 36" long each and also Aurora to Tomy AFX 3" adaptors. All I need to do is construct some banking supports for 6 lane banking and use standard 9" and 12" radius Tomy AFX banked curves for the inner and middle lanes with flexitrack at the 15" radius outer lanes. In the past I have made 4 lane banking supports (as in the drawing below) out of corrugated cardboard and PVA wood glue, (parts numbered 1 and 5 are thin cardboard for the deck and back that have to take a curve) it looks like I will have to get back into craftwork!
I have a fair amount of 5mm plywood maybe if my idea works I will make something more durable than cardboard.
Best wishes Chris

I have built cardboard 4 lane banking supports as the drawing above and they work well, I have drawn the 6 lane version and will get the materials tomorrow from the grocery shop. I have rescued two lengths of old Aurora Q lock flexi track from the loft along with four 3" adaptor tracks to convert from Q lock to Tomy AFX.
