1963 Chevy Impala SS -
KensRedZed - 18th-Jun-23
This started out as a 1/25 pre-painted demo static kit. Something you would see in a toy store window to show buyers what the kit looks like once it's finished. It's now a slot car. It was made for a friend.

Gotta love an old land barge, especially one in such a nice colour

Thanks Kevan and Anthony.
A land-barge it surely is. Das-boat!
The interior is next.

The most interesting thing about 1/25 scale is that there are a bazillion static kits out there just waiting for a scratch built chassis. The sky is the limit. This is a new experience for me.

A shame there aren't the same number of 1/32 kits available

I couldn't agree more, Kevan.

Ken this is stunning mate, I love this type of build.
I'm trying to find a 3D file to make a Valiant Regal my Dad had when I was a nipper.
Great build, look forward to seeing your interior.

Hi Tony,
Thank you very kindly.
The interior needed a bit of trimming before being taped in correctly.

We had lots of room under the chassis. I could have slammed this to the ground with a full interior and floor. But... my instructions were not to slam it (more than I did).

The only thing missing now is a driver. Thanks for looking.
