With another year almost done and the next upon us once again fast, here we have ready for all our cars for 2023. Looks like there will be some great models arriving throughout 2023 including quite a few delayed models by Scalextric.

Hmm - Have we all had a Quiet End of year - new year slot car wise????  What has arrived in your stocking?

I am cheating a bit as I got these on the 25th but they are 2023 for me

I was really spoilt - so apologies for all the pics  

I wanted to get some of the Bugs that I first saw in our Digest 49, as they are relatively cheap in comparison to Scaley, Pink Kar etc

I decided on Spain, France and Mexico as I really liked the colours and the detailing.


I have wanted - even as bad as lusted after -  the 2003 Bentley, as I saw it race in 2003 and have some wonderful pictures from that race.

However it arrived broken and I had to repair it. Yes I could have sent it back or claimed from ebay, but as I wanted the car I repaired it .

Looks ok - what do you think??

Next I saw the tyrell-esque nosed Ferrari at Kyalami in 71 - so was on my bucket list - also added some comparison pics of the other version as there are a lot of differences - Kudos to Policar!!!

Last one  ( for now  :) ) is a lovely Dino which seems to be modelled around the Carrera car - but seems far better

I received today a Ferrari 412P (Policar) and an Aston Martin Vantage GTE (Sideways) :

Note the same period, but 2 lovely cars to my eyes ... and, I guess, 2 great runners

Maybe the thread should be ' Cars received by members in 2023'

Very nice looking cars!!!

I believe there is a smear factor from 2022 to 2023. I don't mind end of 2022 cars being posted here. It's all good when it comes to the "eye candy" factor. These are all cool looking slot cars.

It's a Fly Ferrari 365 GTB/4

...I must admit I had to look at a few to admire it enough but once it's right in your hands it's a wonderful looking race car.

Visited Tom at  Toms garage   and bought a few cars from him - some wonderful work from him and I managed to buy some cars that are always on my have to have list :)
