Wet'n'dry paper for the flatter surfaces.
The corner of a modelling knife for digging the paint out of the vents and panel lines.
Still have to finish  going over the whole car with a finer grade
At first I thought I would laquer the body as-is in it's factory plastic but  I probably will give the body a paint job.

I've never had much success with chemical stripping.
Even chemical designed for stripping paint from plastic seem to weaken the body shell.
Alan,

PS i think I've landed on the wheels by SRC that I'm going to use.

Those wheels look great, I've seen some 1:1 car wheels that don't look as finished as those!

Might try that method on the next strip down I do, nail polish remover was ok but I left more fingerprints in it than paint removed!!  Bigsmile

RE: Finally!! - Savage GT - 5th-May-21

I used those wheels on a couple of Escorts I did, they are very nice wheels  Thumbup

Jeremy,
We mght be getting ahead of ourselves with rules and guidance to suit particular tracks.
Eg Tyres , Ride height, guide depth , lights even?
First, let's build some cars and, hopefully, also build some interest from other slotters.
Alan,

PS I put my order in from Pendle for the parts yesterday.
Hope I didn't forget anything.  Rally

I can sort that out, if 964rh is happy for me to do it.
