One more aside before I return to the ARC Pro guide is to flag up a new ARC Pro set in the 2020 Scalextric catalogue...

[attachment=5591]

As you can see, the C1413 ARC Pro Platinum GT Set is the full ARC Pro kit at one big hit (RRP £499.99). What you get for that is:

• The latest ARC Pro powerbase

• 2 x P9300 15v power supplies

• 4 x C8438 ARC wireless controllers

• 4 x High-detail Scalextric GT cars fitted with C8515 digital plugs

• C7015 Right-hand pit lane

• 2 x C7036 straight lane change tracks

• 9 metres of track

For the full six-car ARC Pro experience, all you'll need are two extra ARC wireless controllers, two extra GT cars and two C8515 digital plugs. Plus extra track, borders and barriers - if you have room. The set will be available Autumn 2020: www.scalextric.com/uk-en/shop/new-for-2020/scalextric-arc-pro-platinum-gt-set

Coming soon, the final topics in the guide will be:

• Tournament racing

• ARC Pro's Drag Race

• My Garage

• Pace Cars - racing on your own

• Arcade

• Analogue mode

• ARC Pro and Rallying

The full guide - beautifully laid out by Jason - is here: slotracer.online/arc-pro-guide/

Hello Andy, very helpful manual!
It looks like after the Scalextric website redesign they haven't got all their redirects working properly. Your link to the Arc Pro Page goes straight to the catalogue now. Maybe change it to this?

https://uk.scalextric.com/support-and-advice/advice/app-race-control

That page does not include a link to the Quick Start PDF though, I could only find that here https://www.pendleslotracing.co.uk/downloads/scalextric-arc-pro-quick-start-guide.pdf and not on Scalextric's own page or their fancy Zendesk powered support page https://support.scalextric.com/hc/en-gb/sections/360004595139-Scalextric-Digital

This page does include a working link to the firmware.

Thanks Sabre! The guide - here https://slotracer.online/arc-pro-guide/index.php - will get some tidying up at some point, especially because of the new Scalextric site and broken links.

I also want to look at some of the features I don’t routinely use - analogue mode, pace cars, tournament, drag racing etc. I have some notes… just finding time to write it up properly

Keep up the good work! The guide has been a great help for me after purchasing my ARC PRO Platinum GT Set.

I never understand why people will moan and whinge on forums and other media but not tell the manufacturer directly!

I think so.
