What a great video from Ade, at times the RoadRunners Merc looked like it had the measure of Mountain View, but in the end the best car won.......at least this time.

3rd Place - Team Cube - Scarab
Would you believe it, is the RoadRunners Merc loosing its mojo?  after leading all the way up and down the country, looks like the Mountain View Merc has the edge in the closing stages. With only two more Rounds to run, can the RoadRunners make a comeback  (my fingers are crossed)

Classic
1st Place -RoadRunners Cooper Climax
2nd Place - Bangers Racing - Porsche 804
Joint 3rd Place - Team RNLI - Lotus 24 & Courtney Sport - Cooper Climax
RoadRunners feel a bit more relaxed about this class, and enjoyed the rare occurrence of running faster than Courtney Sports Cooper Climax 
Team RNLI just holding onto to joint 3rd place with Courtney Sports.

3rd Place - Bangers Racing - Williams FW11
Seems that Team Tatters Williams just holding onto 1st place after Ruscillo Racing Ferrari caught a chill at Viking, can they regain the initiate with only 2 Round left ?
Bangers Racing seem to be putting some distance between themselves and Mountain Views Shadow who were again suffering with lack of grip.

Modern
1st Place - Courtney Sport - Mclaren M4/13
2nd Place - Team Cube -Williams FW40
3rd Place - Team Tatters - Dallara
Well nothing much to be said here, looks like the cars will finish the last rounds more or less as they started.

Team Points
1st Place - RoadRunners
2nd Place - Team Tatters
3rd Place - Courtney Sport
Well RoadRunners managed to extend their lead by 11 points over Team Tatters, but all of a sudden the Courtney Sport lads are right up there in the mix, barring any disasters the Road Runners should make it through to the end, but I am going to need sooth sailing from now on with the last two rounds.

Pre-1961 front engine era is my favourite...but also the biggest challenge with skinny tyres, narrow track and high ground clearance.

I really enjoyed watching all of those races, it's great to see otherwise ignored F1's getting a new lease of life.

I used to occasionally race a Scaley FW07 with a brass motor mount glued to the original chassis, from the outside it looked like the original chassis but went a whole lot better...then the NSR F1 was born and that was the end of it's competitive visits to our track.
